TFF assembly with pump head and pressure sensors
This is an example of a single-use assembly consisting of a pump head and pressure sensors, which can be used in a tangential flow filtration set-up. This assembly helps you save time during the preparation of the TFF step in the production process.
The assembly is delivered ready for use, you only have to connect the single-use pump head to the pump. You do not have to apply CIP and SIP and the sensors do not have to be calibrated. Because of our open architecture you can choose all components according to your specifications.
Quality
Our single-use TFF assemblies consist of high-quality components as standard, such as:
- Pendotech or Equflow sensors
- Saint-Gobain silicone tubing from the Sani-Tech and Tygon brands or weldable C-flex TPE tubing
- Nordson sanitary fittings and pharmalok TC clamps
- Eldon James hose-barb connectors
- Newman silicone, Viton or EPDM gaskets (O-rings)
- Saint-Gobain barblocks
- Quattroflow single-use pump heads
All these components are qualified for use in cGMP environments. They made of materials that comply with USP class VI and have well-documented extractable profiles.
Sterility
These pump head assemblies are assembled in our own cleanroom according to validated procedures. The pump head assemblies are part of our sterility program, which allows us to give a sterility claim on our gamma-irradiated assemblies when required.
Open architecture
In addition to our own standard range of single-use components, we can apply every component according to your specifications - as long as the components meet our minimum quality requirements. So you can specify single-use tubing, a TC-clamp or another pump head to have a single-use assembly exactly according to your wishes and requirements.
Flexibility
The assembly in the drawing below is an example. We can produce any desired design. You can supply a drawing yourself, or have one of our specialists make a design based on your application. After agreement of the design we produce the assembly in any desired amount, with short delivery times.
