Reducing risks
Single-use solutions were initially deployed on a pilot scale, but more and more companies are now working with full configurations. The use of single-use is being embraced mainly because it has more and more possible uses and because single-use components minimise the chance of cross-contamination.
The use of completely closed moulded systems significantly reduces any risks. In these systems, the components are seamlessly connected to each other, so there is no chance of leakage or contamination of the product.
