Eldon James Y-connectors
The single-use Y-connectors from manufacturer Eldon James are available in a wide range of materials and models. The available materials are polypropylene, natural kynar, HDPE, nylon and 316L stainless steel. There are also reducing Y-connectors available.
The y-connectors that are manufactured from the materials Natural Kynar® (NK) and Natural Polypropylene (PP) comply with the requirements of USP Class VI. The material Natural Kynar is also known as PVDF. The Polypropylene and Natural Kynar models comply with USP Class VI and are free of derivative substances of animal tissue. TSE/BSE statements are available on request. When autoclaving the connectors or exposing them to a Steam-In-Place (SIP) procedure, it is best to choose Natural Kynar.
