PendoTECH PressureMAT system for pressure sensors
The PressureMAT™ is a control, alarm and transmitter system that is designed for use in combination with PendoTECH pressure sensors for single-use applications in life science applications.
The system consists of a unit with an operating system, user interface and connectors on the back panel to which input and output components can be linked. There are options available with up to four inputs for pressure sensors. There are countless possible applications in biopharmaceutical production processes in which the PressureMAT™ system can be used to regulate pressure, such as during filtration, chromatography and pressure control and regulation of single-use or glass bioreactors.
Screen- the process pressure is displayed on an LCD display (range from -7 to 75 psi). The pressure can also be displayed in bar.
Alarm- the minimum and maximum pressure is entered using the keys and if the process pressure is under the minimum setting or above the maximum setting, the system issues an alarm. The alarm function includes a flashing lamp on the display, an audio signal for 30 seconds and a relay output that can be used to activate an external solenoid or squeeze valve on the tube. Alarm locking is optional.
Transmitter- the transmitter function issues an output signal of 4–20 milliampere, which corresponds with the pressure reading on the display. The PressureMAT is deployed for data input in (bio)pharmaceutical process regulation systems. Also available with a RS-232 data output to a PC for data input in software such as Excel, where internal data logging is optional.
