Tygon Chemical Tubing
This Tygon tubing is a special hose type that is co-extruded. The hose is therefore developed for the ideal combination of long pump life and chemical resistance. The super smooth and inert interior ensures that it prevents absorption and adsorption of aqueous liquids. In addition, the Tygon exterior ensures a long flex life in peristaltic pumps. The tubing is an excellent choice for, for example, the transport of soap or sanitizers.
The inside of the Tygon Chemical Peristaltic Pump Tubing is free from plasticizers and significantly improves the flow of your liquid. As a result, the hose can be used for a wide variety of applications. The tubing is not affected by acids, bases, salts, ketones or alcohol. The outside (the jacket of the tubing) ensures its flexibility. This considerably extends the service life in pumps and reduces the risk of the process stagnating, for example due to the failure of the pump. The performance of the hose is not affected by commercial cleaning agents. Finally, the hose can also be autoclaved without problems for up to 5 cycles.
