Sani-Tech SIL-250 Silicone tubing with extended pumplife
In order to optimally utilize the operation of a peristaltic pump, a flexible hose is required that can be placed between the rollers and the casing of the pump. This way the liquid can be pumped efficiently. However, the hose must be strong enough that once the rollers have squeezed the hose together, it will return to its shape. Because the liquid does not come into contact with the pump but simply remains in the hose, the chance of contamination is eliminated. The Sani-Tech SIL-250 has been specially developed for this application.
With the superior flexibility, production processes can be simplified and production "downtimes" are reduced due to the failure of the pump. The smooth interior of the SaniTech SIL-250 is designed to prevent particles from getting stuck in the tubing. So that there is no accumulation of microscopic particles in the sensitive liquids that go through the hose. Thanks to the smooth interior, even cleaning the hose is no problem at all.This platinum-cured Sani-Tech SIL-250 silicone tubing meets the complete set of requirements set by the USP class VI, is "non-toxic", "non-hemolytic" and "non-pyrogenic".
